Donny Thoresen

Donny Thoresen has spent nearly the past two decades serving in various leadership roles within two Atlanta based family offices. Donny’s experience has primarily centered upon Trust & Estate, Investment Management & Finance.

Most recently, Donny joined Fuqua Capital Corporation (the Fuqua Family Office) in early 2020 to form a private trust company for the Family (FFTC). During this time, Donny led the Company’s formation and implementation. He now oversees FFTC’s ongoing operations as President and works closely with each family member/beneficiary advising them on a variety of topics.

Previously, Donny spent 16 years working at Robinson Weeks Partners, LLC. During his tenure, Donny served in several leadership capacities, with the majority of his time as COO of the Weeks Family Office. Donny holds an MBA from the University of Georgia.
